Well carved as a Chinese temple lion seated with a pierced brocade ball resting beneath its right forepaw, the turning head with exaggerated features framed by a long curly mane and whiskers, further curls defining the multi-strand tail, with inlaid eyes, signed [Ryo]ichi.
