Large six panel screen, ink, color, and gold on paper; depicting at right a scene from Chapter 26, Tokonatsu (The Pink), with Genji shown seated on a raised tatami mat in the angling pavilion, with courtiers lining the veranda and two covered jars; at left an episode from Chapter 45, Ujibashihime (The Maiden of the Bridge), with Kaoru shown outside the fence of a mansion on a moonlit night, listening as the two princesses play koto and biwa together. 5ft 7in x 12ft (1.7m x 3.66m)
