A blue kesi dragon robe

19th Century
Woven in in polychrome colors and gilt threads with nine dragons chasing flaming pearls amidst clouds and auspicious symbols, above wave patterns and a lishui border, with replaced dark blue satin sleeves, lined with turquoise blue silk; together with two Japanese textiles, one a pieced silk brocade Kesa (priest's robe), the other a polychrome resist-dyed silk Fukasa (gift wrapper).
