Late Qing/Republic Period
The box and cover of compressed globular form raised on a tall foot, painted with xuangxi characters, a richly hued flower and leaf scroll pattern and a ring of five auspicious bats against a brilliant ultramarine blue ground with gilt accents, the interior and the base finished in white enamel.
