A pale green jadeite archaistic covered censer

19th Century
Modeled in the shape of a rectangular-sectioned ding raised on four canted legs finished in delicate low relief with squared dragon scrolls that repeat to the exterior walls and pieced cover topped by a rampant lion, while dragons grasping loose rings in the round play within the squared handles rising above dragon heads with loose rings; the brightly polished matrix displaying a pale green hue mottled with abundant icy white inclusions.
