An unusual white jade covered vase with children and garden rock

18th Century
The vase and cover of rectangular section and flattened hu-form carved as emerging from a tall garden rock amid fruiting peach branches with three child acrobats in deeply undercut relief performing to the front and a crane and deer in shallow relief to the reverse; the brightly polished matrix displaying a celadon cast marked with some natural fissure lines, opaque white veins and faint russet patches.
