An ivory tusk carved with boys

The gently curved tusk meticulously undercut and pierced to depict a scene of 'One Hundred Boys' engaged in a grand celebration festival for the spring season, the wider end carved with an aged pine tree extending long branches crossing the tusk, the narrow end decorated with a village courtyard fronted with a small bridge, one side carved within circular reserves with four characters, reading bai tong ying chun.
