Jewelled gilt movement, ivory dial with rail tracks chapter ring, printed Arabic index, blued steel Breguet hands, fancy engraved case, rope engraved bezel, case back secured by 4 screws, winding key and adjustment knob in the back, case with a movable hoop for hanging at the top, beveled sides, dial and movement signed 145mm x 105mm x 20mm.

The ornate gilded surface of the clock casing is typical of the Art Noveau style of the early 1900s. The front case features an eye-catching stylised floral motif of scrolling stems, ripe buds and gently unfurling leaves. The clock face is integrated into the design, centred as if it is emerging in full bloom from the vase. Such aestheticism celebrating intertwining floral patterns and the ethereal quality of natural beauty is characteristic of the period. This ornamental wall clock with its free-flowing lines and elaborate decorative feel is a fine example of the Art Noveau decorative arts. The illustrious history of Breguet is well-known, as royally appointed watchmakers from the time of Louis the IV, hence such a wall clock as this would have given a sense of luxury and refined tradition to its surroundings.
