This timepiece celebrates the genius of Kurt Klaus. Kurt Klaus spent more than 50 years as a designer and inventor, and is regarded as one of the more pivotal figures of the IWC watchmakers. This limited production Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Edition Kurt Klaus pays a fitting tribute to an outstanding watchmaker featuring complications such as the famed original automatic calendar/chronograph movement that has been in use since 1985, as well as the signature IWC date, day, month, four-digit year and perpetual moon phase displays. These highly esteemed complications are housed in the new Da Vinci tonneau-shaped case and enhanced by Kurt Klaus’s signature in the bottom righthand corner of the dial, the caseback features an engraved portrait. This timepiece also holds importance as the first model in this generation of Da Vinci watches.
