Footnotes
This special limited edition Panerai Luminor 1950 is a replica of the model created by Officine Panerai created for the Italian Navy. Patented in Italy in 1956, this model faithfully produces the same technical and aesthetic characteristics that the original model was renowned for such as the monobloc case with screw back as well as the system that protects and locks the winding crown. As in the original, the lever of the device is fixed to the case and operated by swinging upwards, thus forming a perfect seal and ensuring water-resistance and precision operation. The strap of the Luminor 1950 is made with natural craftsman-sewn leather and fitted with a large interchangable buckle, in keeping with the aesthetics of the original design.
