Footnotes
The first of this style of time pieces was introduced in the 1930s by Rolex and it set a precedent for similar time pieces by Vacheron Constantin and Corum in later years. The ingenious concealment of a Rolex watch in a hollowed-out 90% gold American USD20 coin is a prime example of the meticulous fashion trends of 1970s horological craftsmanship.
