Provenance: The Zorensky Collection, Part 2, sold in these rooms 23 February 2005, lot 363. There are very few examples recorded of this rare shape. For an example decorated in 'dry' blue, see H. Rissik Marshall, Coloured Worcester Porcelain (1954), pl 15, fig 262. The 'Globe Flower Spray' pattern is equally rare and is normally found on unusually shaped coffee and chocolate pots, see Branyan, French and Sandon, Worcester Blue and White Porcelain (1990), p 396, fig II.C.20
