A good Bow figure of a young girl

Circa 1758.
Modelled standing, wearing a blue bodice and pink skirts with a pale-yellow front panel painted in puce with trailing flower sprays, holding a basket of fruiting vines over one arm, the other hand holding the hem of her apron filled with colourful flowers, upon a mound base applied with further flowers and painted with puce scrollwork, 15cm high (some minor chips and losses to applied flowers and fruit)

Footnotes

The figure is after a Meissen original modelled by Kändler and Reinicke, circa 1755 and inspired by an engraving of a drawing by Francois Boucher of two flower girls, see Len and Yvonne Adams, Meissen Portrait Figures (1987), p 110, fig XXXV and p 123. Peter Bradshaw, Bow Porcelain Figures (1992), p 139, figs 129 and 130, illustrates a similar Bow examples and suggests a boy grape picker as her companion
