A good Bow sauceboat

Circa 1750-52.
Of oval shape with a scrolling rim, the loop handle with a spur thumbrest, painted in bright blue with a two storied pavilion amongst trees and rocks, the interior with 'sacred scrolls' below a border of leaf sprig cartouches reserved upon a diaper pattern band, upon three lion-mask and paw feet, 21.5cm long
