Of six lobed form, painted in the Kakiemon palette with a tiger curved around a bamboo stem beside flowering peony branches issuing from 'banded hedges', picked out in gilding, in a border of evenly spaced gold flowerheads upon a band of tightly packed red leaves, within a brown line rim, 18.8cm wide, red anchor mark (some minor rubbing to enamels)
