Circa 1770-80.
Modelled in the form of the head of a pug dog, with yellow and black markings and a bright pink tongue, the hinged cover printed and painted with a pug before a classical arcade, 5.2cm high (a few fine cracks and small patches of retouching), and a Continental enamel snuff box, 6.8cm wide (restored) (2)
