Modelled seated on an upturned barrel, wearing a green coat, his tricorn hat, breeches and spotted waistcoat in brown glaze, holding a foaming jug in both hands, his right foot resting upon a recumbent spaniel below, the foliate handle bound at the base with a rope, upon a square base with canted corners, 24.5cm high (a chip to the inner rim of hat, the handle of the small jug held in his hands restored)
