Dated 1867.
Painted by the Monogramist PZ, after the fables of Jean de La Fontaine, with animals and figures including 'Le Renard et les Raisins.' and 'Le Lion amoureux.', all signed with the artists monogram, within yellow band rims, titled to the reverses, comprising six comports in three sizes, supported upon scrolling trefoil bases, the undersides decorated with flowers and insects, the tallest pair 17cm high (one comport repaired to stem, one low comport with section of the rim restored, some minor chips and fine cracks), and seventeen dessert plates, of lobed French shape, 24cm diam, impressed WEDGWOOD marks and year letters (one plate restored, one with fine rim crack, a few small rim chips) (23)
