Circa 1815.
Of urn shape with two richly gilt high scroll handles, probably painted by John Pennington with vignettes after paintings by Richard Westall, one of 'A Reapers Child', the little girl seated in a cornfield beside a barrel, a hound at her side, harvesters at work nearby, the reverse with 'A Gleaners Child', with a baby sleeping amongst sheaves of corn, titled to the underside, within gold rectangular panels with canted corners, reserved upon a pink ground, gilded with bands of classical ornament to the shoulder and foot, 34cm high, script marks with Coventry Street address (one handle with some restoration)
