A Derby chamber candlestick

Circa 1760.
With a flower shaped sconce resting upon a curled stem forming the handle, applied with a flowerhead thumbrest, the circular lobed stand moulded with scrolling ornament and painted in 'Cotton Stem' style with colourful flower sprays including roses, iris and poppies, within gilt line rim, 13cm diam (a small section of the rim restored, some rubbing to gilt rims)
