A rare Derby figure of a Map Seller

Circa 1765-68.
The lady modelled standing, wearing a pink and green bonnet, her bodice richly scale decorated, her floral dress trimmed in pink below a white apron, holding a tray of wares including dividers, a pin cushion and ribbons, beside a half scrolled map titled 'South America' in one corner, before flowering bocage upon a scroll footed base, picked out in gold, 17cm high, gold anchor mark to the reverse of base, patch marks (restoration to bonnet, neck and the fingers of her right hand, one branch of the bocage re-stuck)
