A pair of Derby figures of the Ranelagh Dancers

Circa 1775.
Standing in dancing pose, he wearing a tricorn hat and brightly coloured doublet and hose, a cloak around his shoulders, she with pink bodice and similarly painted skirts, holding a posy of flowers in her right hand, before flowering tree stumps upon scroll moulded bases, the tallest 23.5cm high, patch marks (he with left forearm lacking, she with neck restored, lacking fingers of her left hand, both with chip to extremities) (2)
