A 54-Bore Flintlock Box-Lock Pocket Pistol
By Prosser, London, Circa 1810

With turn-off barrel numbered '1' and engraved with a band of foliage at the breech, border engraved action finely engraved with a trophy on each side and signed beneath the pan on one side (top of cock missing), engraved thumbpiece safety-catch also locking the steel (top reduced), folding trigger, and figured rounded butt cut with distinctive pineapple chequering, London proof marks
