The first with recoloured octagonal sighted barrel, top-strap engraved 'London armoury', bright serial numbered cylinder, recoloured border engraved frame with serial numbers and 'Adams' Patent' on the right side, blued safety-stop, arbor pin, rammer, russet trigger-guard and butt-cap, and chequered figured rounded butt: in lined and fitted oak case with accessories including G. & J.W. Hawksley powder-flask and brass bullet mould, the interior of the lid with reproduction London Armoury Company trade label, the exterior with vacant circular brass escutcheon, London proof marks; the second of characteristic form, with folding trigger, and figured rounded grips: in later lined and fitted wooden case, the interior of the lid with reproduction William Ross trade label, Liège proof (2)
