A Cased .30 Webley Patent Six-Shot Single-Action Rim-Fire Revolver
No. 8, Late 19th Century

With blued octagonal sighted barrel, grooved top-strap, plain cylinder, frame stamped 'Webley's Patent' on one side, spurred butt and butt-cap, hinged loading-gate, arbor-pin with spring-catch, spur trigger, chequered rounded grips, and some original finish: in its fitted mahogany case lined in blue baize with two accessories, the exterior of the lid veneered in bur walnut and with vacant circular brass escutcheon, Birmingham proof marks
