The first with recoloured octagonal sighted barrel, border engraved top-strap, plain cylinder, frame with hinged loading-gate, trigger-guard and butt, the last with spur, sprung safety-stop, hinged cartridge-extractor (retaining screw replaced), and chequered rounded grips (refinished overall), Birmingham proof marks; the second with octagonal sighted barrel, cylinder with recessed nipples, numbered from '1' to '6', and engraved around the forward edge, foliate scroll engraved rounded action, butt and trigger-guard, engraved bar-hammer, and chequered rounded grips (one bruised and split, some wear and pitting overall), Birmingham proof marks (2)
