A 15-Bore Silver-Mounted Presentation Flintlock Sporting Gun
The Barrel And Lock By Robert Wogdon, Circa 1790, Breeched, Stocked And Mounted By Innes, Dated 1824

With russet two-stage barrel swamped towards the muzzle, turned at the girdle and signed along the top flat of the octagonal breech (one barrel-lug missing), silver spider fore-sight, octagonal patent breech with platinum lines, platinum-lined maker's stamp and platinum-lined touch-hole, engraved tang grooved for sighting, signed flat bevelled lock with stepped tail and later cock and steel, figured half-stock with chequered grip, mounts comprising butt-plate engraved with the presentation inscription and with a martial trophy and foliage on the heel tang, trigger-guard with a martial trophy and foliage on the bow, silver trigger-plate with pineapple finial, vacant silver escutcheon, barrel-bolt escutcheons, fore-end cap and engraved rear ramrod-pipe, and ramrod with white-metal tip, London proof marks and maker's mark of Robert Wogdon
