A .44 Starr Arms Co. 1858 Model Army Six-Shot Double-Action Percussion Revolver
No. 15766, Circa 1860

With hinged russet sighted barrel, russet frame stamped 'Starr Arms. Co. New York.' on one side, and 'Starr's Patent Jan. 15. 1856.' on the other, serial numbered russet cylinder, rammer, trigger-guard, knurled barrel-release screw, figured rounded butt stamped with inspector's mark on each side, and matching numbers (some light pitting overall)
