A .36 Manhattan (Navy Type) Series II Six-Shot Single-Action Percussion Revolver
No. 9266, Circa 1859-68

With octagonal sighted barrel (some pitting) stamped 'Manhattan Fire Arms Co. Newark, N.J. Patented March 8. 18. 1864' along the top flat, cylinder with 1859 patent date and originally with roll engraved oval foliate panels with military and naval scenes (removed), frame, brass trigger-guard and grip-strap originally silvered, rammer, figured rounded grips, and matching numbers (some wear and patination overall)
