A Pair Of Liège 20-Bore Flintlock Holster Pistols
Early 18th Century

With long sighted barrels each with sighting flat tapering towards the fore-sight, grooved tangs, flat bevelled lock each engraved 'L.V.M', figured moulded full stocks (butts repaired, one fore-end partly replaced), iron mounts comprising side-plates pierced and chiselled with foliage, figures and monsters centred on a grotesque mask, vacant foliate escutcheons, spurred pommels each with faceted cap centred on a cut design of overlaps, trigger-guards each with foliate finial, turned and faceted ramrod-pipes, and iron-capped ramrods (2)
