With octagonal sighted twist damascus barrel rifled with ten grooves, foliate engraved breech, tang incorporating a back-sight, back-action lock, hammer and mounts, the latter comprising butt-cap with hinged circular butt-trap cover, D-shaped spur trigger-guard and trigger-plate with foliate finial, white-metal barrel-bolt escutcheons, and stirrup ramrod, Liège proof
