A Composite Flintlock Blunderbuss
19th Century

With two-stage barrel (touch-hole drilled out) turned and belled at the muzzle, the muzzle and mid-section sparsely inlaid with silver designs, octagonal breech inlaid in silver with geometric designs, plain tang, border engraved rounded service lock with 'GR' crowned and 'Tower' across the tail, full stock (fore-end split and damaged, chipped around the tang) with chequered grip, butt carved with foliage on one side, and brass mounts of regulation type (trigger and fore-end band missing, ramrod replaced, iron parts with some rust patination)
