A Pair Of 25-Bore Brass-Mounted Flintlock Pistols
Signed Rooke, London, Circa 1830

With sighted barrels retaining traces of browning and engraved 'London' at the breech, foliate engraved tangs and signed border engraved locks, the latter each with roller and retaining faint traces of case-hardening (steels refaced), figured full stocks (some bruising, one fore-end chipped on one side), trigger-guards each engraved with foliage on the bow, turned ramrod-pipes, vacant white-metal escutcheon, and original brass-tipped ramrods, Birmingham proof marks (2)
