The first converted from flintlock, with barrel retained by a spring-held barrel band also forming the ramrod-entry, flat bevelled lock etched 'Mauberge Manuf. Rle.', figured full stock, and regulation steel mounts including shaped butt-cap (ramrod missing, some wear and rust patination); the second with turn-off barrel with spring bayonet beneath, foliate engraved action with faint traces of an inscription on one side, engraved sliding trigger-guard, flat-sided butt, and vacant diamond-shaped white-metal escutcheon (worn and pitted), Birmingham proof marks; together with a reproduction all-metal flintlock belt pistol of John Waters type, with iron barrel and lock, brass lock with ram's horn type butt, button trigger, belt hook, and iron ramrod (some surface rust and pitting (3)
