A German Iron Padlock And Key
Late 16th Century

With stout shield-shaped symmetrical body pierced with circular holes, a pair of curved tear-drops, and a heart, and with applied central plate front and back, the hasp of arched flattened form, the key with moulded collar and double bit (lock and key with surface pitting) (2)
