Two Continental Iron Keys
The First French, 16th Century, The Second 17th/18th Century

The first with openwork bow rising from a moulded capital and finely formed of symmetrical scrolls, and triangular hollow shank, the bit pierced with a pair of crosses and with eight teeth; the second with oval bow, baluster collar, hollow trefoil shank, and swelling bit pierced with the initials 'PF' (2)
11.5 cm. and 7.8 cm.
