Late 18th Century

Of brass, formed as a flat bar pierced with numerous small central holes and engraved with numbered scales for 'caliber' and 'Tärn' along one side, and for 'Sten' and 'Bly' along the other, the shaped flat base stamped on one side with maker's mark 'CHW' above an engraved curved altitude scale from '30-0-30' with pivoting plumb-bob indicator
