Eight Powder-Flasks, A Shot-Flask, And Five Bullet Moulds
The First Including Four By James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, Mostly 19th Century

The first comprising one for a target rifle, with large bag-shaped copper body faceted around the edge, and brass top with adjustable patent nozzle calibrated for drams and grains, and sprung cut-off and tap, another, with plain bag-shaped copper body, brass top and adjustable nozzle, two others of similar form, one embossed with a scallop shell on each side, and the other with applied flaming grenade on one side, two others (tops incomplete) embossed with hanging game and a gundog in a landscape respectively, and a reproduction 'stand of flags' flask; the second with leather body (repaired) embossed and tooled with hanging game on one side, and patent pivoting adjustable nozzle with sprung cut-off; the third each of iron and incorporating a sprue-cutter, one with one arm forming a ramrod, and one with arm forming a barrel-key (some rust patination); together with two detached engraved cocks, and a small quantity of lead balls (a lot)
