Each with rounded light wood body, the steel tops each damascened with gold foliage and retaining traces of original blueing (18)

Offered with a copy of a handwritten note by George Lee, attaché to Anthony Eden, confirming that the cartridges were given to a Captain Brook-Store by an un-named aide-de-camp of the last Tsar of Russia and that they formed part of the Tsar's uniform worn on ceremonial parades
