With tapering double-edged blade incised with letters within the fuller on each side at the forte, and struck with a flower-head shaped mark on one side, hilt comprising double arched 'crab-claw' quillons showing old copper brazing on one side, side-ring, globular pommel with button finial, and later wire-bound grip (some pitting overall)
