An English Silver-Hilted Small-Sword
Indistinct London Silver Hallmarks, Maker's Mark Of John Carman II, Circa 1755

With slender fullered blade (some pitting overall) double-edged towards the point, hilt of characteristic form decorated with spiral fluting and comprising boat-shell guard, recurved quillons with lobed terminals, globular pommel with turned button, and grip bound with silver ribbon and twisted silver wire (slightly loose)
