A Russian Naval Officer's Dirk Awarded For Bravery
Reign Of Nicholas II (1894-1917), Circa 1915

With bright tapering blade of flattened diamond section, rectangular ricasso, regulation hilt comprising recurved quillons engraved 'For Bravery' in Russian along each side, brass pommel-cap and basal mount of square section, the former with applied crowned cypher of Nicholas II on one side and turned button finial, and white hard-rubber grip of square section with applied red enamelled Order of St. Anne fourth class on one side, in original leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass mounts and two suspension rings, and with two brass-mounted brown leather suspension straps
