The first with broad blade of flattened diamond section widening towards the sharply beaked point, hilt comprising angular horn knuckle-guard secured by ratan bindings, faceted grip widening towards the separate pommel and each with ratan bindings, the latter carved to resemble a bird's head; the second comprising an Upper Congo sword with curved fullered single-edged blade, the double-edged point pierced with a hole and cut with line decoration on each side, and wooden grip bound with strips of iron and brass, two Congolese throwing knives each with hooked blades, one with incised decoration and central projection, one with woven leather grip, the other with wooden grip bound at the base with strips of iron and copper, and a North African sword with curved fullered blade (some pitting), the hilt entirely covered in leather stained brown and with pyramidal-shaped brass finial, in partly woven stained leather scabbard with leather tassels and tooled leather suspension straps; the last of characteristic form (6)
