The lockplates inset with gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, best bold foliate-scroll engraving, highly figured stock with wood extension, the barrels with game-ribs (original barrels slightly loose on action)

The makers have kindly confirmed that the gun was completed in 1907 and that it was built as the No. 1 gun of a trio 25120/1 & 2. It was also originally built as a single-trigger and later converted to a double-trigger, although there is no record of this
