Standard specifications and finish, the Mauser action, stamped Deutsche Waffen-Und Munitionsfabriken Berlin, with thumb-recess and charger-guide, flag-safety, the breech impressed with the Brazilian seal, figured stock with semi-pistolgrip, inset brass disc and steel butt-plate, sling-swivels (rear swivel missing), the three-quarter length forestock secured by two barrel-bands and with bayonet lug and clearing-rod, the barrel with tangent rear-sight and block-mounted pyramidal blade-foresight
