This fine and attractive image is inscribed on the reverse by the recipient: "Having performed the 'Concerto in F' at the Wigmore Hall, London – 1st performance – for 2 pianos with Ruth Gull – Dec 11th/ '30/ Pianoforte Recital – John Pritchett". Included in the lot are other papers of John Pritchett (1909-1973), a student of piano under Cortot, cello under Casals and composition under Boulanger, including an official photograph of Alfred Cortot's class of 1929, a signed Cortot programme, two flyers for the 1930 Wigmore recital, and a pencil study of Gershwin inscribed to him by the artist, A.M. Gendron (1929).
