Autograph address on a Mulready penny lettersheet to "Mr William Wordsworth,/ Black-gates,/ Leeds.", [unidentified] armorial seal in black wax with small associated seal-tear, Maltese Cross cancellation in black ink over Britannia, slight time-staining where originally folded and exposed, [c.1841-1843]

Letters dating from the early 1840s, written by the recipient (William Wordsworth of Black Gates, Leeds) are among a group papers relating to Bradford surveyors in the West Yorkshire Archives (GB 202/11D74/3). Sold with a letter by the Curator of Rydal Mount. The cancellation indicates a date of 1841 to 1843.
