A wood and ivory group of Shoki and four oni

Meiji Period
The powerful demon-queller is shown standing triumphant, holding aloft in one hand a large cauldron atop which cavort two mischievous oni and clutching a sword in the other, a third oni kneeling at his feet begging for mercy whilst another tumbles over on the left; unsigned. 43.1cm (17in) high.
