An okegawa yokohagi dotosei gusoku

Late Edo Period, 19th century
The twenty six plate suji-bachi russet lacquered and fitted with a four lame ita mono black lacquered ko manju jikoro, the black lacquered fukigaeshi with a gold lacquered mon, on the front a maedate of simplified kuwagata with the mon between. A menpo russet lacquered with bulbous nose and four lame yodarekake. The ni mai yokohagi okegawa do of iron russet lacquered with black-lacquered kusazuri, black lacquered tsutsu gote, haidate of leather plates lacquered alternately black and gold and shino suneate. Laced overall in dark blue sugake odoshi. Together with an armour box and a wood stand. (2).
