Four various cloisonné enamel vases

Meiji Period
All worked in silver and gilt wire, the first decorated with an hawk swooping in to catch a leaping frog beneath a band of stylised butterflies on a blue ground; 31.1cm (12¼in) high; the second with doves perched among plum branches on a aka-murasaki ground; 36.2cm (14¼in) high; the third with kiku on a midnight-blue ground; 31.1cm (12¼in) high; the last similarly decorated with tall stalks of chrysanthemums on a turquoise-blue ground; all unsigned. (4).
